Site Engineer – Rail & Building Projects

An established and highly regarded contractor is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join their growing delivery team across a diverse portfolio of rail infrastructure and building projects throughout Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with 1–2 years of post-graduate experience who is looking to accelerate their career within a high-performing project environment, working alongside experienced industry leaders on complex and technically challenging projects.

About the Role:

Working closely with Project Engineers, Senior Engineers and Project Managers, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion. Exposure will include civil, structural and building works across live operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting day-to-day site coordination and project delivery
• Assisting with subcontractor management and site supervision
• Managing QA documentation, inspections and ITPs
• Monitoring programme and assisting with short-term planning
• Coordinating procurement and material deliveries
• Supporting cost tracking, forecasting and reporting activities
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with project specifications
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and client representatives

About You:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
• 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience with a reputable contractor
• Exposure to rail, civil or commercial building projects preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work within fast-paced project environments
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety and delivery outcomes
