Unify Recruitment are currently partnering with a growing business, who are seeking a strong Site Engineer to join the business with a background in Civil and/or Structures. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of civil and structural works including earthworks, drainage, concrete structures, bridges, retaining walls, and associated rail infrastructure.
  • Set out works, verify levels, and ensure construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and design tolerances.
  • Prepare and manage ITPs, ITRs, work packs, and construction documentation in accordance with project and client requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, to quality, and in line with the construction program.
  • Monitor progress, productivity, and costs, identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise closely with construction managers, supervisors, designers, and client representatives to resolve technical and constructability issues.
  • Support safety leadership through implementation of SWMS, risk assessments, permits, and participation in safety reviews.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, as-built information, and handover documentation.
Skills & Experience
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experience post grad as a Site Engineer on major projects
  • Strong experience delivering civil and structural scopes in complex, live construction environments.
  • Sound understanding of rail standards, QA systems, and construction methodologies.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate complex design documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with supervisors, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders.
