Contract Administrator / Senior Contract Administrator Sydney, NSWCivil | Infrastructure | Building | Rail
Unify Recruitment are currently partnering with a couple of top tier contractors in NSW who in the market for experienced Contract and Senior Contract Administrators of leading contractors for major project opportunities across civil, infrastructure, building, rail, and water sectors.
With strong project pipelines across both public and private sectors, these businesses are seeking commercially astute professionals who can support and drive project performance from procurement through to final account.
The Opportunity These roles offer the chance to work on complex projects ranging from $20M to $100M+, supporting high-performing project teams on some of Sydney’s most significant infrastructure and construction programs.
Depending on the role and contractor, responsibilities may include: - Managing head contract and subcontract administration across the project lifecycle
- Preparing, negotiating, and letting subcontract packages
- Managing progress claims, payment schedules, variations, and final accounts
- Supporting cost forecasting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting
- Identifying and managing contractual risks, claims, and commercial opportunities
- Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Engineers, and site teams to optimise project performance
About You: - Experience working for a contractor or subcontractor within construction or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of contract forms such as GC21, AS4000, AS2124, NEC or D&C contracts
- Proven capability in subcontract management, procurement, cost control, and commercial reporting
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to protect margin and manage risk
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Commerce, or similar
