With a diverse portfolio spanning transport, building Rail and Energy, they have built long-standing relationships with both public and private sector clients through their commitment to safety, quality and project delivery.

Due to continued project wins and sustained growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Safety Advisor to join their high-performing HSEQ team and support projects across the Sydney metropolitan area.

About the Role Reporting to the National HSEQ Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site teams to drive a proactive safety culture across multiple civil infrastructure projects.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on site, building relationships with operational teams and influencing positive safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across multiple project sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and workplace observations.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks, pre-starts and safety briefings.
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, client requirements and company management systems.
  • Support project teams in preparing SWMS, risk assessments and other safety documentation.
  • Coach and mentor supervisors, employees and subcontractors on best-practice safety.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare safety reports and contribute to project and business performance reporting.
About You:

We're looking for a motivated safety professional who enjoys working collaboratively with project teams and has a practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • Previous experience as a Safety Advisor, WHS Advisor or HSEQ Coordinator within the construction, Rail or Building sector.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of NSW WHS legislation and construction safety requirements.
  • Experience conducting site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • White Card and current Australian Driver's Licence.
