Project Engineer – Buildings & Structures | Rail Infrastructure Project Unify Recruitment are working with a well known major contractor, who are recruiting for both Project and Senior Project Engineers to delivering a major station upgrade project in Sydney.
Working as part of an experienced delivery team, you will take ownership of buildings and structural packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role offers exposure to complex rail infrastructure works in a live operational environment.
The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for: - Managing buildings and structural work packages on a major station upgrade project.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Developing and implementing ITPs, SWMS, RFIs, NCRs and construction documentation.
- Monitoring project costs, forecasting and assisting with commercial management.
- Planning construction methodologies and short-term programmes.
- Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
- Driving quality, safety and environmental compliance across all works.
- Supporting project reporting, procurement and project controls.
About You: - Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
- 3+ years' experience as a Project Engineer within building, structures or major infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience delivering station upgrades, transport infrastructure, buildings, bridges or complex concrete structures.
- Strong understanding of structural concrete, steelwork, fit-out and finishing packages.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple interfaces.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing project team.
