Project Engineer – TfNSW Infrastructure (Regional NSW) Our client, a well-established civil infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their delivery team on a regional Transport for NSW (TfNSW) project, with an anticipated duration of 18–24 months.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a significant regional infrastructure project, with exposure to TfNSW standards, stakeholder interfaces, and end-to-end project delivery. Candidates with civil or bridge construction experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities: - Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of TfNSW civil infrastructure works
- Assist with project programming, including short-term lookaheads and progress tracking
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities to ensure works are delivered safely and to specification
- Support commercial management, including cost tracking, variations, and progress claims
- Ensure compliance with TfNSW specifications, quality requirements, and contractual obligations
- Coordinate RFIs, technical documentation, and approvals
- Monitor quality assurance processes, ITPs, and inspection requirements
- Promote strong safety and environmental performance on site
About You: - Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience in civil infrastructure construction
- Experience delivering TfNSW projects is essential
- Civil and/or bridge construction experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and program requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a regional environment and within small, high-performing teams
