2 X Project Engineer – Tier 2 Contractor Our client, a well-established Tier 2 civil contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing delivery team on major infrastructure and civil works projects across NSW.
This role offers the opportunity to work on TfNSW projects, with a strong focus on earthworks and general civil construction, supporting project delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities - Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil construction projects
- Manage and maintain project programs, including short-term lookaheads and schedule updates
- Support commercial management, including cost tracking, variations, progress claims, and subcontractor management
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with TfNSW specifications, project requirements, and contractual obligations
- Promote and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure efficient delivery
- Assist with procurement, RFIs, and technical documentation
- Monitor quality assurance processes, ITPs, and hold points
- Provide accurate reporting on progress, risks, and issues to project leadership
About You: - Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working on TfNSW projects with a strong understanding of NSW specifications and standards
- Proven background in earthworks and general civil construction
- Strong understanding of project programming, cost control, and subcontract administration
- Safety-focused mindset with experience working under strict HSEQ requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with site teams and stakeholders
- Experience with Tier 2 contractors preferred
