The Role: Overseeing a major Microtunnelling package, you will act as a subject matter expert Project Manager, you will take ownership of the planning and delivery of key trenchless components within a complex water project. Your role will include managing subcontractors, maintaining progress against program, ensuring strict safety compliance, and acting as the technical lead on all microtunnelling aspects.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage microtunnelling works from planning to commissioning
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Manage construction program, reporting, and cost control
- Liaise with the client and engineers to ensure successful project outcomes
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support innovation in methodology
About You: - Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Project Management with a focus on trenchless or microtunnelling projects
- Background in water/sewer infrastructure projects essential
- Proven experience delivering projects for Sydney Water or similar authorities (highly regarded)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent
