About the business
The client is a well-respected Sydney based Tier 1 contractor who has been in operation for 30+ years, building a reputation for their delivery of projects but also a great place to work. They work across commercial, Health, Defence, Goverment and Data Centre projects for Tier 1 builders.

The business has 100+ direct employees with all in-house engineering, drafting, and mechanical plumbers. 
  
About the role
Due to recent projects being awarded, I am seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join the business. Your job will be to oversee medium to large complex projects the company has on their books. These contracts are typically worth between $5m - 10 million, working with Tier 1 & 2 Builders.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver projects on time, in budget and in scope
• Responsible for monitoring project budget
• Manage the relationship between the business and all external contractors engaged to conduct services
• Work closely with Project Team, on project progression and variations
• Identify risk within the project and communicate to appropriate parties
• Maintain and develop a healthy culture of learning and improvement amongst project teams

  
About you

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
• Across the whole life cycle of projects - from design to commissioning
• Knowledge of products, systems, and market sectors within the industry
• Takes the ‘extra step’ to ensure customer satisfaction
• A current driver’s license.
• Trade qualification in HVAC works
