Job Description:
As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in our project planning and execution processes. You will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates for various HVAC projects valued between $10millon and $20million, ensuring competitiveness while upholding our high standards of quality.

Your analytical skills and keen attention to detail will be essential in evaluating project specifications, analysing costs, and collaborating with project managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to fully understand the scope of work.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment related to HVAC systems.
• Analyse data and market trends to inform effective pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Prepare and present estimates to clients and stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
• Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing information to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for upcoming projects.
• Monitor project costs regularly and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
• 5+ Years of experience working for a mechanical contractor
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
• Proven track record in securing mechanical tenders of $10mil+ across Mixed-use Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail 
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
