Grad/Site Engineer Opportunity - Major Rail Infrastructure Project About the Role Unify Recruitment are partnering with a national contractor who are seeking a motivated and driven Graduate/Site Engineer to join a major rail construction project based south of Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity to build on your first year of industry experience while contributing to a high-profile infrastructure development that will have a lasting impact on the region.
You will work closely with experienced engineers and project teams, gaining hands-on exposure across a range of civil and rail construction activities.
Key Responsibilities - Assist with the planning and delivery of daily site activities
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections and ensure works are delivered to required standards
- Support quality assurance, safety, and environmental compliance processes
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Prepare reports, documentation, and as-built records
- Monitor progress and contribute to project scheduling
About You - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a construction or infrastructure environment
- Exposure to rail or large-scale civil projects (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with engineering software is a plus
