Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Drafting Manager to lead the HVAC drafting department in Brisbane. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and documentation for HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the drafting team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Oversee the creation of detailed HVAC system drawings, shop drawings, and documentation.
• Ensure all drawings and documents adhere to relevant standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver accurate and effective designs.
• Monitor project timelines and workload, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
• Review and approve all draft drawings before submission.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and precision.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve design issues and improve workflows.
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in HVAC drafting, design, or engineering management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, standards, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
