Document Controller | Brisbane | Major Project
  
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in computer science, business administration or similar field
  • Knowledge of Team Binder or other similar document control platform.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in document or records management
  • Experience working with many file types
  • Ability to find and preserve paper documents
  • Basic understanding of construction industry documents
  • Knowledge of HSEQ requirements
  • Competent in planning and organising work schedules

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ):
  • Assist your team to ensures compliance with all relevant HSEQ policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
Document Management:
  • Implement document control standards across the project, for file structures, document naming conventions and the storing of documents.
  • Accountable of the transmission of documents to the client and stakeholders in line with subscribed controls.
  • Provide guidance to project team members on document control guidelines.
  • Assist team members on formatting and editing documents.
  • Collect, scan and upload documents following guidelines
  • Print and distribute documents as required
  • Assist project team members with the development of required documents and monitor implementation
  • Ensure all technical documents, such as reports, drawings and blueprints, are collected and registered in system
  • Maintain a project document register for all transmitted and received documents
  • Use SharePoint document management for everyday operations, maintenance and quality control
  • Notify project team members of deadlines and requirements to submit documents
  • Work with documents and records across teams, including engineering, quality, safety, marketing and construction
Communication:
  • Maintain effective liaison and communication with all internal team members and external stakeholders on all matters relating to the construction activities
  • Participates in regular project meetings to foster understanding, participation and enthusiasm
