Contract Administrator – Tier 1 Mechanical Contractor Sydney$160,000 - $170,000 plus Super and Car/Car Allowance An opportunity has opened up with a Tier 1 mechanical contractor delivering large-scale projects across the data centre sector in Sydney. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth in the mission-critical space, they are looking to bring on an experienced Contract Administrator to support project delivery.
The business is well-established in the market, known for delivering complex mechanical packages across major projects, particularly within data centres. You’ll be joining a structured team environment with exposure to high-value projects and clear progression pathways.
The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and commercial team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end contract administration across major mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities - Managing head and subcontractor contracts
- Progress claims, variations, and cost reporting
- Procurement and letting of subcontract packages
- Financial tracking and forecasting across projects
- Supporting project delivery from a commercial standpoint
- Liaising with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors
About You - 3–8+ years’ experience in a Contract Administrator role
- Background working for a mechanical contractor or within the construction space
- Experience working on medium to large-scale projects (data centre experience highly regarded)
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
