Unify Recruitment are partnering with a top tier contractor who have a requirement for 2 x an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing team across Greater Sydney. With a strong pipeline of utilities, earthworks, and RMS projects, this is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile civil projects with a respected industry leader.
The Role As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major civil packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and deliver utilities, bulk earthworks, and RMS roadwork packages
- Prepare and review ITPs, SWMS, work packs, and construction methodologies
- Manage subcontractors including procurement support, scope control, and performance monitoring
- Track progress against program and drive productivity outcomes
- Oversee quality assurance processes, inspections, and testing requirements
- Support cost control, forecasting, and monthly reporting
- Liaise with Project Managers, site supervisors, designers, and client representatives
- Ensure compliance with NSW specifications, TfNSW/RMS standards, and company safety systems
- Promote and maintain strong safety leadership on site
About You - Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
- Proven experience delivering utilities (water, sewer, stormwater), earthworks, and/or RMS road infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of NSW standards and specifications
- Experience working with subcontractors and self-perform teams
- Solid commercial awareness and reporting capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
